The Agera R enhances both performance and visual appearance by building upon the features and functionality of the Agera with new, unique solutions.
Enhanced Performance
Enhancements comprised: visible carbon elements on the front bonnet and bumper, introduction of new front side winglets, implementation of an all-new Aero exhaust system, and boosting engine power with a higher RPM limit.
Record Breaking Brakes
The Agera R also introduced Koenigsegg’s proprietary ceramic piston brake system.
In 2011, the Agera R achieved a new world record for accelerating from 0-300-0 kph. This record-setting time of 21.19 seconds remained unmatched until 2015, when it was surpassed by the Koenigsegg One:1.
